Morpheus8 is a cutting-edge fractional skin treatment which stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the skin. This treatment targets the deeper layers of the skin, resulting in the reorganization of the building blocks of the skin. This procedure is minimally invasive, safe, non-surgical, and is accomplished by using a matrix of micro pins to renew deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient downtime. RF (radio frequency) energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled manner which revitalizes the collagen. The treatment improves skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance, a natural anti-aging treatment.

It is recommended to have a minimum of 3-6 sessions, 4-6 weeks apart, with 3-5 days downtime (regular M8) or 7-10 days downtime (resurfacing needles). Healing time (3-4 weeks). Final collagen production results are seen approximately 3-6 months after each treatment. After the 1st treatment expected improvements in skin tone and texture. After the 2nd and 3rd treatment skin elasticity and tightening begin to show. For acne scars treatment it is recommended to have a minimum of 6 treatments. 01 You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to be in the next 3-6 months. 02 Tanned or used tanning products in the past 3-4 weeks. 03 Have surgical metals in the body, heart pacemaker/ defibrillator/ monitor, major health disorders, active acne, cold sores, or infections. 04 Have used Accutane, PDO threads/Fillers on treated area within the past 6 months. 05 Had aggressive/ resurfacing skin treatments (Example: CO2 laser, deep chemical peel/acid-based peel) within the past 2-3 months.

01Come in at least one hour before appointment time with clean skin to numb.
02Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) must be done 2 weeks before Morpheus8 tx and 2-3 days after (or when skin is healed).
03Stop using products that contain retinoids, serums, acids, bleaching creams, hair removal creams, tanning products, steroids, antibiotics 2-3 weeks before treatment and do not use again until you are done with all treatments. Let me know if you take prescription medication or blood thinners.
04Purchase Healing Ointment (from our NoHo location, or Healing ointment from drug store brands such as Cerave or Cethaphil), clear aloe vera gel and Hydrocortisone cream1% ahead of time.
05COVID vaccine, Laser hair removal, electrolysis, waxing on treated area must be 2 weeks apart before and after the treatment (plug or shave areas a day before treatment).
06To prevent bruising please avoid alcohol, aspirin, or other blood thinners 3-5 days prior. Take Arnica supplement starting 3-5 days prior each session.
01Regular needles (1mm-4mm) and Morpheus Body (2mm-7mm)- 3-5 days
02Resurfacing needles (0.5mm)- 7 -10 days
03During downtime DO NOT use any skincare products besides healing ointments that are approved by treating nurse; no excessive sweating, swimming pool/jacuzzi/saunas/steamer, aggressive scrubbing/ exfoliating skin, animal hair/mucus, dirty hands/ personal items, make up, extreme hot/cold water temperatures, be around dust/ dirt, wearing same mask for many hours (use disposable mask and change at least every hour).
04Healing balm/ ointment must be reapplied on a clean skin every 3 hours for the first 3-7 days depending on a treatment.
05After 72 hours start using sunscreen and hydrating moisturizer. Always stay away from the sun! Expected post treatment skin reactions: redness, temporary hyperpigmentation, needle grids, slight swelling, itchiness, bruising, acne breakouts, some scratches. Final healing takes about 4-6 weeks (grid marks may stay longer/ looks like “GOOSEBUMPS”).
06Dryness, darkening of grids, crustiness, flacking of the skin are signs of dehydration.
